Welcome to the Solent Gaffers Annual Race and Rally, 2019. This year we're returning to a 2 location format.
We shall gather in Cowes on Friday, 30th August, where the Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club will host us for the evening. After the race briefing there's no formal meal, but you are encouraged to collect fish and chips and bring them to the club.
On Saturday, we race from Cowes to Lymington. As usual, it's meant to be fun rather than the last word in serious racing, so we hope as many people as possible will join in. Those that don't want to race will sail down in their own time. The Royal Lymington Yacht Club will host us for prize-giving and dinner on Saturday evening.
We're also going to run our simple, fun, passage race to the event. Just record a few details and join in, even if you don't normally race.
Depart at your leisure on Sunday 1st September.
